Welcome to InnovatED Tech! I’m Vanessa, an Atlanta-based educator, doctoral researcher, and creator. My work lives at the intersection of instructional technology and human-centered design.

This site is a hub for instructional tech & research, classroom strategies, and community-based project learning, plus the InnovatED podcast where we dive deep into the tools and ideas shaping education and technology.

I am passionate about leveraging technology in a way that encourages us to engage in critical thinking, teaching people how to think and asking the right questions. Beyond the research, I offer creative consulting to help individuals master their machines, repair technical roadblocks, and bring bespoke projects to life.
